Experiencing personal emptiness in her mid-fifties, Hazel prays for change in her life, including adventure! When she happens upon a discarded restaurant receipt one day, she wonders whether it's a nudge from God. Or is she being silly? Unsure, she decides to dine in the same French restaurant and order the same meal.
Thus begins a year of following other receipts that come across her path for no reason other than that they add a touch of adventure to her routine.
Unwittingly, however, she embarks on a journey that will come to affect not only her life but the lives of others-one filled with fun, whimsy, and even danger. But it's a journey for which God has long been preparing her.
