Daily Bible Study for Spring 2027 invites adults into a quarter shaped around the theme "Signs, Signals, and Symbols," reading Scripture for the ways God makes himself known and calls us to respond.
The quarter unfolds in three units. Picking up where the Winter quarter leaves off, "Signs of the Kingdom" follows Jesus' ministry as told in the Gospel of Luke — from his announcement of the coming Kingdom to the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the crucifixion, and his resurrected appearance on the road to Emmaus — and asks where this radical Messiah, not the Messiah most people expected, challenges our own expectations. "Love Psalms" turns to four of the Psalms as prayers and songs to, from, and about God, centered on God's chief attribute, love: how those lost in sin are redeemed in love, how we learn to love God as God loves us, and how we share that love with others. The final unit, "The Church," reads the Book of Revelation not as a map of future end-times but as a message for today — one that issues in a call to faithful, bold testimony. The unit closes the quarter in five lessons.
Across the spring, readers move through the Gospel, the Psalms, and Revelation as a single invitation: to look for God, and to be found.
