Grow in faith by connecting Scripture to life weekly.Have you ever gone looking for God and discovered that God was already searching for you?
Adult Bible Studies Spring 2027 invites readers into a quarter of searching and discovery built around the theme "Signs, Signals, and Symbols," considering what it means to look for God and, in turn, to be found by God.
The study moves through three units. In "Signs of the Kingdom," it follows Jesus' ministry as told in the Gospel of Luke, from his announcement of the coming Kingdom to the triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the crucifixion, and his resurrected appearance on the road to Emmaus, asking where this radical Messiah challenges the expectations people bring to him. In "Love Psalms," it turns to four psalms as prayers and songs to, from, and about God, dwelling on love as God's chief attribute and on how those who were lost in sin have been redeemed in love, learn to love God as God loves us, and share that love with others. In "The Church," five lessons in the Book of Revelation set aside end-times speculation to ask what Revelation teaches us today and how it calls believers to faithful, bold testimony.
Each lesson features focal Scripture passages printed in full, key verses, background context, and practical application questions designed to move participants from biblical knowledge into lived Christian discipleship. Spiritual practices such as prayer, worship, and community engagement are woven throughout to support growth beyond the classroom.
Designed for Sunday school classes and small groups, this participant guide is part of the trusted Adult Bible Studies curriculum suitable for adults of all ages and all denominations.
