-ABOUT THE BOOK: Blowing bubbles. Sidewalk chalk. Dancing in the kitchen. With Ma Bell, every moment is an adventure!
But when Parkinson's disease makes it harder for Grandma to move the way she used to, Eve learns that playtime can become something even more meaningful-it can help Ma Bell stay active, healthy, and strong. Filled with warmth, encouragement, and heart, Let's Move, Ma Bell is an uplifting story about family, resilience, and the healing power of love in motion. A beautiful conversation starter for children learning about grandparents, aging, and caring for those they love.
-ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Eva Litkenhous is a children's author, nonprofit founder, and advocate for healthy living who believes everyone can grow stronger through movement, confidence, and perseverance. Inspired by her grandmother, "Granjean," whose joyful spirit and courageous battle with Parkinson's disease deeply shaped her life, Eva founded the EVE Foundation (Encouraging Vital Exercise) to promote the message that exercise is medicine for both the body and mind. A native of Auburn, Alabama, Eva is passionate about dance and leadership and has competed through the Miss America Organization, where she developed a heart for service and community impact. Through her books and nonprofit work, she hopes to encourage children and families to live active, healthy, and confident lives while discovering the strength within themselves.
