Unforgiveness. Emotional wounding. Intense conflict. Self-condemnation. How does a believer experience healing and freedom from such things? This book will equip you to experience a transformational relationship with Jesus that effectively addresses such issues.
Emily demonstrates how the Lord stands ready to set us free from our deepest hurts by sharing a collection of personal testimonies of those who experienced freedom when they obeyed Jesus' instructions to abide with Him. She guides the reader with practical reflection tools and purposeful steps of obedience toward freedom as well as how to disciple others to also abide in Christ. Included are discussion questions, declarations, prayers, and more to help believers fully interact with the content. Learning to Abide is an excellent book for individual or group discipleship and study.
The author's heart to see the Church liberated, fruitful, and joyful is evident on the pages herein. In my life, obeying God, as described in this book, continues to produce liberty, fruit, and joy in greater measure. Praise Him!

Learning to Abide was a great tool to help calm my heart and mind. It helped me connect to Jesus, The Father and the Holy Spirit in a very personal and tender way leading me to a place of peace and assurance of His presence, promises, and plans.
