Various works about Abraham have been written concerning his faithfulness and his various encounters with kings, angels, and even God Himself. Most authors shy away from the difficult explanations associated with the mystery of Melchizedek. This encounter demands our attention because our Lord creates purpose and order rather than confusion. God's word and strict canonicity of the bible is in view here while every detail is considered.
