Are you looking for companionship on the journey of life and faith through the Lenten season? On the Way, Augsburg Fortress’s 2027 Lent Devotional following Jesus’ passion in the Gospel of Mark, is for you! Whether you’re a lifelong Lutheran or new to the Christian faith, our writers, all ordained ELCA pastors with decades of experience, bring their unique voices and pastoral wisdom to the journey.
On the Way features:
Quotes to ponder from a variety of voices across (and beyond) Christ’s church
Accessible devotionals for Ash Wednesday through Easter Vigil / Resurrection of Our Lord
Fresh, authentic daily prayers
Use these daily devotions on your own during your morning commute, with your family after a meal, with friends over coffee, or with your congregation during Bible study. Join all the people of God “on the way” as we follow Jesus together to Jerusalem, to Gethsemane, to Golgotha, to the tomb, and to the holy surprise of the resurrection.
On the Way is a Lent 2027 devotional for churches and individuals, rooted in the Revised Common Lectionary.
