This volume of essays by scholars and professors in Dr. Barry Howson's world of influence is organized around four themes: biblical studies, practical & ecclesial theology, church history, and worldviews, philosophy & systematic theology. Each chapter is presented to honour his service to the church and the academy-in particular, the various churches he has pastored in Quebec and Ontario, and Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, where Dr. Howson has been on the faculty since 2001.
From his pastoral roles to his teaching and administrative roles, Dr. Howson has been a faithful and encouraging leader and colleague on the Canadian Baptist scene. This book bears evidence to the high regard and esteem in which he is held. It is hoped that it will aid readers in being "nourished on the truths of the faith." A brief biography is also included.
