We are on the cusp of Christ's return for His Bride, the Church. He is coming back for a Bride that is without spot or blemish, excitedly awaiting for His return. Every bride wants to look perfect on her wedding day. God, the Father of the Groom, also wants this from the Bride He has chosen for His Son. You may be surprised to learn that we are responsible for clothing Christ, our Bridegroom. We do that by the way we live our lives as His representatives in the world. Are we clothing Him with glory, honor and splendor or are we making Him appear as a pitiful, blind beggar, threadbare and homeless? Are we clothing Him by the way we are living in this present world? The purpose of Dressing God is to help each of us become more Christlike so that we will not be ashamed at him appearing.
