We are living today in a time of great shaking. Not only are earthly things being shaken, but even spiritual things are being shaken. This shaking must take place in order that that which can be shaken will be removed, so that that which cannot be shaken may remain. Anything that can be shaken shall be removed because God has given us a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and He wants us to inherit that kingdom.
In such a time as this, the book of Hebrews has something to say to us because our situation is very similar to the situation facing the Hebrew believers in the first century. How will God's people be kept from being shaken away? How will they be kept pure and blameless until the day of Christ?
