Even when she didn't realize it, Edith Stein was looking for Jesus all her life. God sent many clues -- like her brilliant mind that always looked for answers, holy and wise people, and unusual events -- to help her find him.
After finding Jesus, Edith took the name Sister Teresa Benedicta of the Cross. She is a shining example for children of what it means to seek God and to give your life to him. She used her God-given intellect, curiosity, and love of learning to develop a life-changing relationship with Jesus. She shared her gifts with others, helping them to find Jesus, too.
