Product Description
One objective of this book is to set forth the genuiness or authenticity of the Book of Daniel. This volume is composed of twenty-five in-depth studies designed to strengthen and encourage Christians in their daily walk with God and with one another. Chapters 1-3 draw attention to Daniel and the three Hebrew children concerning their complete devotion to God. Chapters 4-6 focus on God's activity in revealing dreams to Nebuchadnezzar and the three Hebrew children's refusal to compromise their dedication to God. Chapters 7-9 deal with God's sovereignty. Chapters 10 through 14 examine the various stages of the four world empires. Chapter 15 discusses Daniel's Prayer for his people. Chapter 17 scrutinizes the seventy weeks of Daniel 9:24-27. Chapters 18-19 draw attention to salvation through Jesus. The remaining chapters (20-25) investigate the final visions disclosed to Daniel. Chapter 24 gives an analysis of the Second Coming of Christ in judgment against apostate Israel in 12:7. Chapter 25 provides special attention to the resurrection of Daniel 12:2. Dallas Burdette has been a serious student, teacher and preacher of the Bible for sixty-five years, supporting himself for many years as an agent for AFLAC. He has written numerous articles for religious journals, as well as many essays and sermons which are available on his website (www.freedominchrist.net).
