Barry Cameron is a devoted father and husband, a dynamic communicator, and a bestselling author of The ABCs of Financial Freedom, Contagious Generosity, and The Road to Financial Freedom. He served for 30 years as Senior Pastor of Arlington Christian Church, which became Crossroads, in Grand Prairie, Texas. When he arrived in 1992, the church was averaging 188 in a small facility that needed considerable remodeling, situated on six acres in a residential neighborhood. When he retired in February 2022, he left behind one of the most beautiful church campuses in America - a church reaching thousands of people, a 150-acre campus with four large facilities, over 300,000 sq. ft. under roof, acres of parking, and a 30-acre sports complex - all completely debt free. Barry and his wife, Janis, have three children: Katie, Matt, and Kelli; a daughter-in law, Lindley; and a son-in-law, Johnny. They also have two grandsons, Will and Levi. The whole family lives in Cincinnati and has been debt-free since November 15, 2001. Crossroads became debt-free on November 9, 2008.
