A desperate search. A crash landing in the Cascades. A secret worth killing for--and an enemy closing in.
Sloane Andrews has one goal: to find her estranged father before her sister runs out of time. Brynn needs a kidney transplant, and their father is the only possible donor. When Sloane hitches a ride with former Air Force pilot Holt Goodwin, she expects a difficult reunion with her father. She doesn't expect a crash landing in the northern Cascades--or the lethal danger surrounding the man she's desperate to find.
Holt is on administrative leave from his job as a federal agent and has reasons of his own for finding Gareth Andrews. When his Cessna goes down in the wilderness, survival becomes his priority. But as enemies emerge from the shadows, Holt realizes the mission is far more dangerous than locating one missing man--a man whose recklessness caused his own father's death.
With a stolen journal containing catastrophic secrets and a ruthless enemy hunting them, Sloane and Holt must fight their way out of the mountains and trust each other with truths neither wants to share. But deep in the wilderness, not everyone may make it out alive.
