Grandparents will love this collection of wit and wisdom about the special role they play in the lives of their grandchildren.
A grandparent wears many hats--advice giver, wisdom sharer, kid spoiler, babysitter, storyteller, teacher, cheerleader, historian, and more. Need to Know for Grandparents celebrates all the big and little ways that grandmoms and granddads love and care for their families.
These helpful and heartwarming insights include:
- Time is the most important gift you can give your grandchildren. There doesn't have to be a planned activity or special treat every time you're together. Being together is enough.
- Let your laughter be the soundtrack to your grandkids' lives. Find things (like games, stories, or shows) that make you all laugh, then make time for them often.
- Take time to see (literally and figuratively) the world the way your grandchildren do. That might mean playing make-believe on the floor or answering 101 "Why?" questions.
This thoughtful book makes an ideal gift for new or seasoned grandparents. Or buy it for yourself and discover what you need to know about caring for your little loved ones.
