Cassia is a fragrant, spice-based anointing oil with deep biblical significance. Historically, it was used to anoint priests, kings, and even their garments, symbolizing dedication and devotion to God's service. With its sweet fragrance and calming effect, Cassia represents the process of being set apart, stripped of pride, and consecrated for holy purposes, as described in Psalm 45:7-4 and Exodus 30:22-25. The use of anointing oils is a central theme throughout the Bible, often mentioned in passages like Exodus 30:22-31, Mark 6:13, Mark 14:3, and James 5:14-15. These oils served as tools for healing, consecration, and spiritual empowerment, reminding us of our devotion and commitment to God's calling.
