We live in difficult times for both the culture and the church. Believers can find fulfillment and assurance by endeavoring to follow the call of Jesus in Matt 6:33 to "seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness." This book is full of stories that indicate ways in which believers can be helped to live as Jesus proposes. Such a life is not easy, and everyone faces struggles, but it is worthwhile. In God's kingdom believers experience new values, caring community, vibrant worship, and leadership in various forms, which grow out of Christian character. Whatever the chaos of the present world, believers can live truthfully, hopefully, compassionately and with a listening ear to the needs of the world around us.
