This resource is one of a pair of books designed to help you understand and The United Methodist Hymnal. This book deals with the large middle section of the hymnal entitled “Hymns, Canticles, and Acts of Worship,” which is meant to help you introduce and use them more effectively in your church. This resource will help your congregation grow in confidence when worshiping God through singing. The main section provides information about each piece, followed by six appendices. Additionally, are sections on the expanded index of Scripture and Allusions to Scripture and an index of the first lines and common titles.
