I once studied under a Professor of Biblical Theology, which is the branch of theology that looks at the study of God historically more than logically. Among students, his style was caricatured without disrespect as bicycling through the Bible. I've always thought bicycling through the Bible wasn't a bad idea, and so I've tried in this book to bicycle through the history of the Bible, focusing on the creativity, compassion and intentions of this magnificent, Living GOD! Why did it take Him more than 800,000 words to tell His-story, why is it of the utmost importance for every human being to understand it and why MUST every one of us face up to the choice to return to Him on His terms?
