Imagine your congregation standing and talking with each other after the service, going deeper than surface-level small talk. Picture your small group feeling so connected that you know what's really going on in each other's lives, how to pray specifically, and how to ask meaningful questions and share genuinely helpful wisdom. This kind of culture can be realistically cultivated in your church.
Practical and powerful, Encouraging Conversations is designed to equip members of your church or small group to build one another up in Christ through conversations that count. Each of the seven sessions guides participants through...
- Video reflections with Bible teaching and session themes
- Group and pairs discussions that connect biblical truth to everyday relationships
- Practical steps for building more meaningful conversations between sessions
As your group intentionally engages with one another about what it means to be a community, members will develop a strong sense of belonging and a foundation for furthering a culture of meaningful conversation in your church.
Every group member will actively participate in activities as they write in their workbook. A leader's guide is included in the back. This resource can be used for one-to-one discipleship and mentoring as well.
For churches and groups made up of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds, there is an optional additional session on communicating and creating a sense of belonging cross-culturally.
