Expectant. Dangerous. Jealous. Faithful. These are the themes used in the Old Testament to describe the layers of God’s character, but then Jesus—God under wraps—took on human flesh and came to live among us to reveal to us what God is really like. Under Wraps will show everyone in your congregation what they can find when they open the true gift of Christmas. This Advent study works well for individuals as well as in group classes. Small group resources including a teaching video, worship ideas and visuals, sermon lead-in videos, and preaching guides are provided for all ages. Additional material on the theme of “Joy” is provided for an optional Christmas week focus.
The DVD contains four video segments of approximately 10–15 minutes each for use during the group sessions featuring each author/pastor teaching. All video sessions are closed-captioned.
