Spikenard is a deeply meaningful oil, renowned for its significance in the Bible. It was used by Mary of Bethany to anoint the head and feet of Jesus just days before His death, symbolizing worship, reverence, and complete abandonment to the Lord (John 12:3). This act of devotion is a powerful reminder of the depth of love and surrender we are called to have toward our Savior. Spikenard is therefore not just a fragrance but a symbol of heartfelt worship and sacrifice. Anointing oils, like Spikenard, are deeply rooted in biblical tradition. They are referenced throughout the Scriptures, with special mention in the book of Exodus, where God commands Moses to create holy anointing oils (Exodus 30:22-31). These oils were used for consecration, healing, and blessing. In the New Testament, anointing oils are seen in actions of faith and healing, as in Mark 6:13, Mark 14:3, and James 5:14-15. Our Spikenard Anointing Oil is crafted by hand, blending the rich fragrance with pure olive oil to create a high-quality, meaningful oil for your spiritual practices. Each bottle is sealed with a secure screw-on lid to prevent spills, and the thick, clear plastic bottles ensure safe delivery without breakage.
