Many states have safe-haven laws that allow parents to turn over custody of infants to the state. But since July, Nebraska’s safe-haven law has applied to all children under the age of eighteen. As a result, several teenagers have been abandoned at hospitals and handed over to state custody. This week LinC looks at abandonment, situations in which we feel alone or isolated, and the assurance we have that God will never abandon us.
