Halloween is a little more than a week away. Many people will spend the spookiest day of the year in masks and costumes, assuming a new identity. While masquerading as someone else is fun on special occasions, we shouldn’t make a habit of pretending to be someone we’re not. Key Scriptures: 1 Samuel 16:6-13; 28:3-25; Matthew 10:32-33; Acts 7:54-60; Colossians 3:12-14. In the popular new book A Year of Living Biblically, author A.J. His quest raises important questions for us about how the Bible is a guide for faithful living and what living a Christian lifestyle means.
