In the October 1 issue, LinC takes a look at ABC's fall television lineup, specifically the "dramedy" Ugly Betty, the story of an awkward and not-terribly-stylish young woman who works for a fashion magazine. Betty is judged and ridiculed by her more fashionable peers but nonetheless works her way to the top. For Christians, Ugly Betty raises questions about acceptance, passing judgment, and seeing God at work in every individual.
