n NBC's new show The Baby Borrowers, couples between the ages of 16 and 19 do their best to care for babies (then toddlers, pre-teens, teens, and older adults). The experiences of raising a child and taking care of an older adult force these young couples to evaluate their expectations about growing up and accepting greater responsibility. This issue of LinC looks at all the positive things about adolescence while looking forward to what lies ahead. Many of these competitors expect nothing less than perfection from their performances. They expect to set world records, win gold medals, or achieve personal best times or scores. Christians should also expect perfection. Jesus tells us to be perfect as God is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Next week, we’ll look at how we can, by the grace of God, go on to perfection.
