In Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the third installment in the Transformers movie franchise, Optimus Prime and the Autobots, along with their human counterparts, must defy overwhelming odds to thwart a plot hatched by their rivals, the Decepticons. We all face situations where we feel overwhelmed and have no idea how and if things will work out. Fortunately we can look to the examples of our spiritual forebears, many of whom beat the odds through faith, perseverance, and an unwavering trust in God. On June 28th the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a California law prohibiting the sale of violent video games to children was unconstitutional. The justices found that video games are art and, as such, are protected by the First Amendment right to free speech. So selling violent video games to kids is legal according to the highest court in the land—but is it right?
