For the first time in nearly twenty years, Indiana Jones is taking moviegoers on an action-packed archaeological adventure. As in Indy’s previous adventures, the search for the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull requires the hero to make several leaps of faith (literally and figuratively). This week LinC looks at our individual lives of faith, especially those moments when God calls us to “leap.” Key Scriptures: Genesis 3:1-11; 12:1-8; Matthew 14:22-33; Luke 7:1-10; 12:22-31. Now that school is out, you probably have a lot more time at home and a lot more time with your parents. If you have any family vacations planned, you'll really be spending a lot of time with the parents. With that in mind, next week LinC reminds us of the fifth commandment: "Honor your father and your mother" (Exodus 20:12a) and looks at ways to improve parent-teen relationships.
