In the June 11 issue LinC reviews the new movie Akeela and the Bee. Akeela had to overcome a variety of fears as she achieved success. LinC takes a look at what fears hold us back from the work God has for us to do and how we can overcome those fears. In the June 18 issue, LinC looks at the new X-Men movie. Christians are like X-Men: We have the power to do extraordinary things and to change our world for the better. We also have to deal with being misunderstood and feeling out of place. Good Christians, like good X-Men, know how and when to use their God-given powers to take important stands in a sometimes hostile world.
