The new science-fiction movie After Earth tells the story of a father and son who find themselves stuck on earth one thousand years after humanity had abandoned the planet. Such post-apocalyptic stories get us thinking about the end of the world as we know it. Scripture tells us that we shouldn’t fear the end. Instead, we should look forward to the fulfillment of all of God’s promises.
