Prince Caspian, The second installment of C.S. Lewis's classic The Chronicles of Narnia, is hitting the big screen with huge fanfare. In Caspian Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie must set things right in Narnia by helping the rightful king claim the throne. Like the Pevensie kids in Narnia, we have a responsibility to set things right in our world by working for justice. This week LinC looks at how we, with the Spirit's help, can take action to right wrongs. Key Scriptures: Deuteronomy 16:18-20; 32:4; Luke 18:1-8; Revelation 21:1-5. Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar (Burma) and the recent earthquake in China's Sichuan province are two of the deadliest and most devastating natural disasters in our lifetimes. Like the 2004 tsunami and Hurricane Katrina before them, these disasters raise tough questions about God's presence amid suffering. Next week LinC looks for glimpses of God in these tragedies and talks about how God shares in our suffering.
