The recent tragedy at Virginia Tech University has left our nation confused, grieving, and afraid. This week LinC discusses a Christian response to the Virginia Tech shooting. How do we deal with anger and fear? How do we show compassion and bring about healing? Where do we find God in such unspeakable tragedies? LinC will celebrate this holiday by looking at all of the ways God acts as our heavenly parent. We talk about ourselves as God’s children so much that we sometimes take this parent-child relationship for granted. What does being a child of God mean? What are God’s motherly and fatherly qualities? How does God show us parental love and discipline?
