Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, you’ve probably noticed that we’re in an election cycle. The news and social media have had plenty to say about all of the candidates—and a lot of it hasn’t been nice. This week in LinC we will explore ways we can encourage Christian unity in times of social division. Key Scriptures: John 17:20-25; Romans 3:21-26; 1 Corinthians 12:19-27. As if Pluto needed any more bad news, there’s been a lot of conversation lately about the possible discovery of “Planet 9,” a large, yet unnoticed planet in our solar system. As science continues to reveal unseen wonders in our universe, it gives us opportunities to marvel at all of God that remains unseen.
