Dozens of college basketball teams are hoping that, in the coming weeks, they can win their conference tournament or put together an impressive at-large profile and earn an invitation to the "Big Dance" (the NCAA Basketball Tournament). As Christians we can experience "March Madness" every month, because we've already been invited to the big dance (or banquet‹Luke 14:15-24). LinC looks at how we can respond to the invitation to live life in God's kingdom.
The new movie Alice in Wonderland is Disney and director Tim Burton¹s take on the Lewis Carroll classics Alice¹s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. In the movie a nineteen-year-old Alice returns to Wonderland and must help redeem a world that is not her own.
Christians should be able to relate to Alice. Though we are citizens of God¹s kingdom, we live in a broken world. And, as ambassadors of God¹s kingdom, we have a responsibility to be bearers of God¹s love and grace to a world that God created and is redeeming.
