The 2008 presidential campaign is in full swing, and the major candidates are spending more money and receiving more media coverage than ever before. As November approaches, American voters will have to think a lot about leadership. But leadership is an important subject even outside of the White House. This week LinC reminds us that we all take on leadership roles of some sort; and as disciples of Christ, we must aim to be the kind of leaders God wants us to be. Key Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 1:10-17; 4:14-21; 15:3-11; 16:13-14. To the technologically challenged, textonymns, emoticons, and text-messaging shorthand are languages that don't make much sense. Likewise, to people outside of the church, words like grace and atonement and incarnation sound like a foreign language.
