Super Bowl commercials have become as big of an event as the game itself. To build buzz around its spot during this year’s game, Doritos has allowed the public to create and choose its Super Bowl ad by submitting and voting on possible commercials on the Internet. The objective when making a commercial is to communicate one’s message in a meaningful way in only thirty seconds. This week we’ll look at how we can communicate our message—the message of good news in Christ—clearly and effectively so that others’ lives will be changed. Key Scriptures: Exodus 3:16—4:17; Acts 8:26-40; 1 Peter 3:8-22. A 22-year-old woman has decided to auction her virginity on the Internet to pay for graduate school. The highest bids exceed $3 million. That's a lot of money, but our bodies—which were specially created in God's image—are worth much more. Though we live in an "everything is for sale" culture, we cannot and should not put a price tag on our bodies. Next week we'll look at how we can live our lives as God's priceless creations.
