The New Year’s edition of LinC will use the tradition of Watch Night to help you and your students experience the spiritual power of anticipation for God’s work in the world. God’s activity will serve as encouragement for positive change in their lives during 2015. Key Scriptures: Deuteronomy 7:5-9; Psalm 39:6-7; Matthew 25:1-13. “Free Hugs” signs are appearing everywhere there’s been anger and strife recently. Next week’s LinC prompts conversation with your teens about the power of anger—how to handle it, how to respond to it, and how to heal through it.
