In this issue, we consider that in the coldness and darkness of winter, we celebrate hope, promise, and renewal by recognizing Christ's birth and the beginning of a new year. In The Return of the King, the final installment of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, good triumphs over evil, and peace is restored to Middle-earth. In the next issue, we are reminded that Christians can also look forward to a time of peace and justice when Christ's kingdom is established.
