Paul in Ephesians uses an analogy that our salvation is a helmet, whose purpose is to protect the head. The knowledge of the many aspects of our salvation protects our thoughts from the faulty thinking generated by Satan, this world system and even ourselves. Our Foundational Salvation describes what happens at the moment of each person's salvation. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit each have a part in the accomplishment of this work. We have simply the privilege of believing it, but we are not involved in making it happen. Each facet of our salvation "package" is defined and described, Scriptural references supplied, then how this truth is usable to block and expose faulty thinking. Our salvation should give us confidence about God's commitment to every aspect of our lives and to give us fearlessness to live a victorious, purposeful, satisfying life. Our future is assured in the infinitely tender and powerful hands of God, Himself.
