In this book, the author takes a number of aspects of Catholic teaching and endeavors to offer an explanation that respects the intelligence of the reader, yet keeps the information free from technical terms and theological jargon. But more than just aspects of Church teaching, the author has broadened the scope to encompass issues that are important in the wider social context, such as Catholic fundamentalism, translation of the missal, and debunks the myth that some would have it, that sexual abuse arose from a liberalism in the Church.
