One of the most common reasons that we don't receive what God wants to give us is not a lack of faith. Instead, we seem to consider ourselves unworthy of what He wants to bestow upon us. Maybe you feel, as many others do, that "I shouldn't think that I am so important," or "who am I that God would bless me with so much wealth that I would never need to borrow money again?"
