Allie stares out a diner window at her mangled car. There was a freak accident in the middle of the desert and a guy named Vinnie rescued her, bringing her here to the roadside diner he owns. The diner is full of people who shouldn’t be here. She turns her attention back to the view out the window and watches as EMTs pull her own body from the wreckage. That settles it. This is no ordinary pit stop. She begins to recall important events from her past…like her entire life is replaying before her. Immediately after the wreck she was so thankful to be alive. Now she’s not so sure.
