There is a need to foster personal growth and self-esteem. Today's youth are at risk They lack the tools necessary to establish a strong foundation for themselves as they journey through life. I came to this revelation after becoming actively involved with the youth in a growing church in California. It became apparent to me the youth of today are not prepared to manage the serious issues they will encounter. In far too many cases, basic training has not been provided by parents and is needed to supplement their formal education.
