About the Contributor(s): Roland Ashby has been the Editor of TMA (The Melbourne Anglican - the award winning monthly newspaper of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, Australia) and Director of Communications for the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne since 1995. He holds a Master's Degree in theology, majoring in contemplative spirituality, from the Melbourne College of Divinity, Australia, a Bachelor's Degree majoring in English and Music from St Mary's College, Twickenham, UK and a Graduate Diploma in Education from Monash University, Melbourne. He is a Benedictine Oblate, a member of the World Community for Christian Meditation and Chair of the Anglican Archbishop of Melbourne's 'Calling Melbourne to Prayer' committee which aims to foster a deeper prayer life among Anglicans in Melbourne.
