Peter is determined to use his experiences and poetic expressions to illustrate that we all go through tough and difficult times. Jesus said that we will have trials and tribulations; however, we are to be of good cheer for he overcame the world. Although we suffer pain in our lives, Jesus will be with us as we pass through the fire. He will see us through the hard times so that times of refreshing may come upon each of us. Seth wants you to be strengthened by the word of God, and he incorporates the English Language through poetry in understanding truths and principles from God's word. Peter is also the author of Draw Near, the accompanying Draw Near Devotional, and Greater Love Devotional. Peter Seth Hoosac graduated from Simpson University with a B. A. Degree in Ministry. After serving in the Armed Forces of the United States, Peter felt the Lord Jesus Christ calling him to preach. After completing his B. A. Degree from Simpson University, a Christian liberal arts college located in Redding, Ca., Peter returned home to Pittsburgh, PA. where he has been actively involved in street evangelism, prison ministry, youth ministry, Christian education and discipleship, and sports ministry. Peter was President of the Mon Fayette Christian Youth and Adult Softball League from 2001 to 2007. He has also written hundreds of articles, studies, and sermons concerning the Christian faith.
