The American church is one of the most opulent expressions of Christianity that has ever existed. We worship in grand structures, led by professionally honed music leaders and we enjoy a quality of entertaining preaching unequalled through all of Christian History. However, the American church is confronted with an incredible challenge both at the corporate and individual level. Our luxurious experience has led us to a strange expression of faith where the doing of God's righteousness is often selected according to our comfort level and the implication of any resultant pain.
"Righter's Block" is a challenge and an offering to our expression of faith here in the United States. It challenges our cultural perspectives and offers a biblical approach to arrive at a vital and victorious life in Christ in and out of circumstance. It uses story, humor and metaphor to reinforce the truth of scripture toward the goal of doing what is right, even though it may hurt.
