Author and photographer Michael J. Weinstein takes the reader on virtual tours through these beautiful places of worship, detailing each synagogue's location and neighborhood. Through more than 600 vivid color photographs, the reader will see the diverse architectural designs and breathtaking interiors of these orthodox synagogues, several of which have been designated as New York City Landmarks and listed in the National Registry of Historic Places.
