Dorothy Lord Bausum Evans grew up hearing her father say, "My father's mother married my mother's father". She illuminates this fascinating story with many interesting details of her unique missionary heritage. Born in war-torn China to a third generation missionary family, Dorothy writes of her childhood in China and Taiwan and her own missionary calling to carry the Gospel to the Chinese people. Intertwined in her narrative are stories of her family's missionary ancestors who served in both Malaya and China. Through personal and inspiring details she recounts how God brought her and Bobby together in marriage and missionary service, blessing their home with four precious children. Integrated throughout her story are many interesting descriptions of their missionary life in Southeast Asia. As readers follow the clear personal re-telling of this family's four generations of service for God they will exclaim with the author, "Surely He Led All the Way!"
