Mary Ann grew up in a small West Texas town with a mountain for a back yard and ponies in the corral. At the end of fifth grade her family moved to a large city in another state. Her identity, no less Her identity, no less her delights, never left Texas. After three decades of aimless life she was exhausted and convicted. Suicide beckoned to offer solution. Repentant hopelessness allowed God to intervene and rescue. The adventure of knowing Him continues. Years later her juvenile diabetes rendered her legally blind and she retired. Childhood delights started breaking out. Mary Ann's poetry and sculpture are offerings of thanksgiving to her Redeemer. That passion gives life to her work and is a restoration of the years locusts have eaten. She now resides in Fort Worth, Texas with her husband and stays busy writing and sculpting pieces with spiritual flair. They have a Western style inspired by Russel and Remington.
