In this study, Jacob Armstrong uses the lens of the Book of Nehemiah to explore the idea of spiritual renovation. In Session 1, Never Too Late for a Renovation, Armstrong uses passages from the epistles to introduce us to the metaphor of ourselves as spiritual houses. He suggests that, like fixer-upper houses, we are in need of renovation—not as do-it-yourself projects, but through the graceful action only God can work in our lives.
